Police said a 19-year-old Sidney man became distraught because his mother told him he had to move out. He cut both his wrists with a razor blade and also took 30 to 40 Motrin tablets. The rescue squad transported him to Wilson Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was admitted for observation.

Police contacted the Shelby County Mental Health Clinic, which was to have a counselor talk with him. a.m.: drunken driving, James Ross, 18, 12147 Ash Drive, Minster, was cited for drunken driving, driving with an illegal blood alcohol content and reckless operation. THURSDAY p.m.: public indecency. A woman reported she came out of the Dairy Mart store on Michigan Street and saw a man urinating on her car. The man was reportedly intoxicated, and said, "Oh, is this your car?" He then walked away and got into a vehicle occupied by another man and drove away.

-9 p.m.: burglary. Stella Overbey, 629 East reported she saw two people running from the area and discovered the residence of Janis K. Burger, 631 East had been broken into. The residence had been entered by cutting a window screen in the back door and then kicking out the window. Police located the suspects, Jason E.

Kellem, 19, 315 Jefferson and a juvenile male, who allegedly admitted to the crime. Kellem and the juvenile were. charged with burglary. p.m.: bench warrant. Curtis W.

Cupp, 41, 402 N. Miami was arrested on a bench warrant. -7 p.m.: speeding, Michelle Ansley, 23, 13460 Renee Drive, Anna, was cited for p.m.: driving under suspension. Carolyn M. Sickles, 43, of Russells Point, was cited for driving under suspension.

p.m.: speeding. Larry Pelphrey, 54, 710 Port Jefferson Road, was cited for speeding. p.m.: failure to control. Paul E. Hayden, 26, of Piqua, was cited for failure to control.

a.m.: criminal damaging. Dawn Douglas, 217 Forest reported her car was alright when she parked it in front of 225 Ave. at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Sometime after that, the hood and windshield were damaged.

Broken glass from a street light was also found on and around the car. a.m.: drunken driving. Kevin L. Thorton, 23, 330 Jefferson was cited for drunken driving and driving with an illegal blood alcohol content. a.m.: assault and burglary.

Jason Bertsch, 18, 2400 Wapakoneta Lot 9, was charged with assault after he allegedly struck Rebecca Bey, 19, 715 N. Buckeye Apt. with his fist. She had a knot on her forehead and a bruise on her face as a result of the assault, which occurred at Bertsch's residence. He was also charged with burglary for allegedly entering Bey's residence uninvited and trashing the apartment.

Joseph E. Puckett 25, Mound was charged with four counts of passing bad checks. p.m.: passing bad check. Victor A. Watson, 34, of Ansonia, was charged with passing a bad check.

Stephen A. Whited, 47, 226 Washington was cited for speeding. a.m.: speeding. Charles A. Wood, 45, 9578 Township Road 71, Quincy, was cited for speeding, -Passing bad check.

Police charged Jon C. Rickey, E. Court with issuing an insufficient funds check for $7.24 to Mor For Less in Sidney on April 20. A Accidents Sidney Police cited a driver for failure to yield after an accident Wednesday. Rhonda A.

Riethman, 22, 220 Grove was cited after the 12:33 p.m. accident. According to a police report, a car driven by Riethman was pulling from an alley in the 500 block of St. Marys Avenue and struck an auto driven by Rhonda E. Davis, 32, 339 N.

West Ave. L. Swiger, 39, 625 Second was cited for failure to of Washington Court House, Mrs. Willis (Ethel) Waugh of South Charleston, and Mrs. John (Elsie) Elliott of Springfield.

Two brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Roberts retired as a clerk at Uhlman's Department Store in 1976 after 19 years of service. She was a 63-year member of First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Wilson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of Pleiades Chapter 298, Order of Eastern Star, and the Phelathia Class of the church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Heth Corl officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 7 p.m.

Rairdon Matinosky grandchildren, and one sister, Florence McGowan of Gulf Breeze, Fla. Une son, one sister and five brothers are deceased. Mrs. Matinosky, an accomplished pianist and organist who at one time played piano during silent movies shown in Jackson Center, graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1921. A member of the Methodist Church, she was a charter member and four-time president of the Jackson Center American Legion Auxiliary.

She was also a member of the Eastern Star in Jackson Center. In addition to making wood fiber flowers and doing needlework, she also taught others to do the same. Miller, 55, 157 Deer Trail Drive, Eaton, brother of Nicholas Joseph Miller of Sidney, died Tuesday night after his car struck a deer and veered into the path of a truck on Ohio 122, north of Gratis in Preble County.

He was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Columbus, the son of Hubert J. and Hazel Ruth (Hart) Miller. Surviving with his wife Mary Elizabeth a are two stepdaughters and three brothers. Mr.

Miller, a 1961 graduate of Ohio State University, owned Market Masters Realty, Rent-N-Stor and a communications business which provides two-way radio repeater coverage, paging and tower site leasing for the community of Eaton. He formerly operated a family business as a distributor for Texaco Inc. and formerly worked as a correspondent for the Dayton Journal Herald, Dayton Daily News and the Richmond Palladium-Item; news editor of the Register-Herald in Eaton; and news photographer for the Dayton television Ronald 30 years and as a civil engineer at Lima Central Catholic High School. Firefighters were called to the' Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 Cisco Road, by a fire alarm. The alarm had been set off by an overheated room heater. There was no fire. WEDNESDAY Firefighters were called to Ross Aluminum 1 Foundries, 815 Oak where a tow motor had caught fire while being refueled. The possible cause of the fire was a fuel leak.

Damage to the tow motor was set at $5,000. The fueling station sustained a $500 loss. a.m.: injury. The rescue squad transported Danny Slife from 720 S. Miami Ave, to Wilson Memorial Hospital.

28, 1938, in Fraizer, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Castor) Winters. On June 29, 1963, she was married to Robert Hodges and he survives with three daughters, Brenda Hodges of Bellefontaine, Mrs. Donald (Lori) Browning of Sidney, and Mrs. Steven (Christina) Dearwester of Jackson Center; two sons, Brian and Alan of Columbus; one grandson, three sisters, -Lillie Rose Davis of Chiarton, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Ann) Larson of Lamoni, Iowa, and Mrs.

John (Gloria) Seibken of Galesburg, and three brothers, John, Frank and Clarence Winters, all of Rockford, Ill. Mrs. Hodges had been employed at Holloway Sportswear in Jackson Center for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.
