Division of I DAYTON DAILY NEWS TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2008 A11 OB REESE, Ruby 82 yrs. old, went to be with the Lord in heaven, Sunday July 20, 2008. Ruby was born May 20 1926 in Hyden Kentucky. She has been a resident of Moraine for the past 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer L.

Reese, daughter Shirley Ann Jackson, father Farmer Sizemore, mother Ora Sizemore, and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son David L. Reese and daughter Phyllis J. Reese, one brother Vernon Sizemore. Nine grandchildren Duwayne Jackson, Rick Jackson, Lisa Jackson, David Reese Mike Reese, Matthew Reese, Amber Reese, Chasity Ranson, and Kristy Mattis.

Eleven great-grandchildren plus a host of relatives and friends. Ruby was a lover of life. Her family get togethers, blue grass music and the Waffle House were three of her greatest loves. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed deeply.

1, 1925, passed away July 11, 2008. Jack graduated from Minster High School in Ohio and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for and retired from the National Cash Register Company (NCR) in Dayton, before moving his family to Arizona. In Arizona, he worked for Data Systems of Arizona for more than 10 years.

His hobbies included golf and card playing. Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Velma Prenger Roeckner, granddaughter Danielle Seifert, sister Mary Ann Whitt, and his parents William and Marie Roeckner. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Elaine Roeckner. Also surviving are a brother, Robert (Betty) Roeckner of Dayton, Ohio; and two sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Ulrich of Greenville, Ohio, and Patricia (AI) Fleury of Dayton, Ohio. Further survivors are his six children, Debbie Nightingale of Boston, MA, Cindy Budde (Steve) of Dayton, Lisa Hebert of Scottsdale, AZ, Terese (Joe) Pichelmeyer of Scottsdale, AZ, Doug (Sabrina) Roeckner of Phoenix, John Roeckner of New River, AZ; and 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Mike, Julia, Laura, Jordan, Cheyanne, Josh, Taylor, Tommy, Johnny, Zach and Kelsey.

Jack had 10 stepchildren, 20 step grandchildren, and 35 step great dren. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Dayton, died July 18, 2008. He was the son of Roy and Violet (Kryder) Starline.

Survivors include Joan (Thomas) Starline, wife, whom he married March 15, 1997, sons Roy Jr. and Toni Starline of Peebles, Ohio, Martin and Kathleen of West Union, daughters Diane Hanes of Union, Ohio, Becky and Mike Stine of Peebles, Teresa Starline of Union, Ohio, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Col. and was a member of the Flight Dynamics Lab at WPAFB for 26 years. He volunteered throughout his life beginning with 4H work as a teenager. Al was a Past President of Kettering Sister City (Steyr, Austria and Kettering, England). During the 90's and early 2000's he volunteered at Hospice of Dayton, the Air Force Museum, and the Mission Commission of Southern Ohio Episcopal Church, traveling to Nigeria, New Zealand and the Westward Islands.

Al always had a passion for airplanes and flight, especially flying sailplanes and he loved his many travels. He was a very giving person even unto death as he requested his body be given to the Wright State Anatomical Dept. to be used for research. Bob was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved here from Boston, Mass in 1982. He was employed with BCL Civil Contractors and was a U.

S. Air Force veteran. Bob liked to fish, shoot pool, golf, especially watch Tiger Woods play, and ride his Harley-Davidson. He was a member of the Panhandle Riders Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Lou Hall Cowan, and his father, Ryland Robert Morris.

Born February 20, 1930 in Ithaca, NY, Gordon graduated from Choate Hall in Connecticut and returned to his hometown to attend Cornell University for his undergraduate degree in Hotel Administration. After serving in the Korean War, he returned and married Rita Jennings of Geneva, New York. He later attended the University of Chicago and obtained his masters degree in Hospital Administration. Rita and Gordon had five children, Leslie, Keith, Pam, Beth and Greg. After ried Shirley Stubbs, and they have Rita's death in 1986, Gordon marlived the last 21 years in the Dayton area.

Gordon completed his very successful 30 year career in hospital administration as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Administration at Miami Valley Hospital. He was responsible for several major projects in the Dayton area, including the current emergency response system and the Care Flight program. A founding member of the Life Long Learning Institute at the University of Dayton, he remained active in many community and charitable affairs. Gordon is survived by his wife Shirley; his five children (above); three step-children, Susanna; Matt and Nate, 15 grandchildren; his sister Deborah Troemner; and a very special sister-in-law, Betty Heffernan. A celebration of life visitation will be held on Wednesday from at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E.
